Previous participants recognize the invaluable importance of this event. Our goal is continued success in achieving the maximum positive media coverage for Canada, both print and electronic, in the United States. We continue in our efforts to achieve the highest media market share in the lucrative U.S. travel market, and we welcome new and newsworthy Partners! The Northern Lights Awards program for excellence in journalism and photography will continue as an integral part of Canada Media Marketplace 2010 along with a stimulating array of Professional Development Seminars. Partner and Media comments and evaluations from each year’s Marketplace are seriously considered in the planning process including a move from Los Angeles to San Francisco as you have suggested over the years. Sally Petrigac and Melinda Wunder will return again as key members of The Planning Team. Both are veterans of several Media Marketplaces. 3-Way Street /Expomatch will once again be responsible for our web site, appointment scheduling and technical support. We urge you to read About Canada Media Marketplace 2010 very carefully for all the details and to SIGN UP EARLY to avoid disappointment! Due to space limitations, we will have ONLY 70 TABLES AVAILABLE. Read all deadline and cancellation information in detail. No cancellation penalty exceptions! Mark your calendars! While the deadline for registration is the end of September, we have sold out as quickly as three weeks from the date that Registration has been open. Know that we are committed to making this another outstanding Canada Media Marketplace. We look forward to seeing you next spring! | Monica Campbell-Hoppé Director, U.S. Media Relations Canadian Tourism Commission Portland, OR | | Susan Iris Vice President, Sales USA Canadian Tourism Commission Washington, DC |
