About Canada Media Marketplace |
Media Marketplace brings together Canadian media directors and representatives from a broad cross section of the Canadian tourism industry with U. S. travel media. Media guests represent travel and lifestyle journalists from print, electronic, and on-line consumer and travel publications. The purpose is to exchange the latest Canadian tourism information in a structured, professional setting consisting of scheduled, one-on-one appointments and related hospitality events.
Who benefits from attending? Editors, broadcasters, producers, and professional journalists whose interests include: travel, food, arts and culture, adventure and outdoor activities, lifestyle, photography, and business travel.
What if I cannot attend a whole session? Simply indicate your preferred appointment times, and we will arrange your schedule accordingly. Local media representatives may wish to "Browse" the Open Marketplaces. We request only that you advise us if you plan to attend.
Is there a cost to me? Registration is free to qualified and approved journalists. Your only cost is your time. For Out-of-Town Media, there is a limited travel budget allocated at the discretion of the Media Marketplace organizers.
